As the lead designer, I worked closely with the CEO and COO from Just Crossed, Manny Manzel and Conor Crighton, and our internal team at Revstar Consulting on the end-to-end design for the brand new social/dating app which launched in 2024.
This project kicked off with our Inception meeting with the clients and our internal team at RevStar where we got to introduce each other and learn more about our client's wants, needs, pain-points, and goals for the Just Crossed app. From there and while initial tickets were being created, I performed a competitive analysis on the two apps our client mentioned, Tinder and Happn, which were used as references throughout our design process. Throughout the creation of the Just Crossed app, we had a steady and consistent workflow that included bi-weekly sprints, weekly team meetings with the clients, and internal meetings with our team. Once we iterated the V1 designs, and the V2 updates were approved and ready for launch, I designed the Admin Portal.

Version 1 of Just Crossed consisted of designing and building the foundation of the app to create our first MVP. This included the following flows: Account Creation, Profile Set Up, Explore, Chat, My Profile / Edit, Premium Page, and Emails. During this time, the designs, flows, and logistics underwent various iterations, and once we felt they were in a good place as well as had gotten the approval from our clients, we started working on Version 2 of the app.
Version 2 greatly expanded on what we previously had as well as polished designs and flows along the way. In addition to the flows listed above, we added the following: Explore - Pass / Like Animation, Chat / Matches Deletion Functionality, Premium Benefits, Change Membership Duration, Implement Premium Free Trial Period, Chat Messages Actions, Chat in Mode Colors, Push Notifications and Silent Notifications, Spark Feature, and Cross-Mode Message Notification Feature.
